OPEN JOB: Lab Manager - Full Time

LOCATION: Murrieta California or Wildomar California (candidates' choice)
***Relocation Assistance Available

SALARY: $117,249 to $169,998

DETAILS:

1. The Manager of Laboratory supervises the day-to-day operations of the Lab and a team of CLS and Lab Assistants.
2. He/she is directly responsible for ensuring the teams adherence to protocols, appropriate management and distribution of workload, ensuring compliance with institutional, industry, and federal requirements.
3. The position is responsible for supervising, administering, and achieving operational goals and objectives for implementation within his/her specific team.

REQUIREMENTS:

• California Licensed Clinical Lab Scientist
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in a related field required.
• Three (3) years of clinical experience as a Clinical Laboratory Scientist (CLS) required.
• Understanding of the underlying scientific principles, technical and procedural aspects of laboratory testing.
• General comprehension of physiology, biochemistry, immunology, microbiology, and genetic factors affecting health and disease in relation to laboratory testing.
• Understanding of management, financial, human resource, and regulatory standards (TJC, DHS, CLIA 88) as they relate to the laboratory.

PREFERRED (not required):

• Master's degree in a related field preferred.
• Minimum three (3) years leadership experience in a Laboratory required, acute care experience preferred.
