Job Description
The entry-level landscape architect / designer is responsible for land planning and landscape architecture design.
Coordinate and preform site due diligence; including, zoning code review, utility verification and conceptual design, concept site plans, review and analysis property survey and geotechnical reports.
Develop site layout designs for single-family residential subdivisions, multi-family developments, commercial retails developments, warehouse and transportation terminals, etc.
Assists with the preparation of land development plans, applications and documents for municipality approvals for they different types of projects listed above. Also, assist with preparation of Construction Documents.
Prepare landscape and hardscape design for streetscapes, public plazas, courtyards, trails, parks and necessary landscape elements for land development projects. Prepare final construction documents, details and plant selection for projects.
Manage projects or tasks based on experience level. Coordinate with multiple disciplines, utility companies, and municipal agencies.
Preparation of written correspondence with outside agencies, clients, etc.
Preparation of proposals.
Preparation of preliminary mass grading plans and final details spot grading plans, utilizing basic understanding of stormwater management design.
