Are you a law student eager to gain hands-on legal experience in family law? Modern Law PLLC invites you to join our immersive Summer Legal Internship Program! We are passionate about empowering the next generation of lawyers by providing real-world legal experience in a supportive and collaborative environment.

Our Summer Legal Internship Program will run from May 2025 through August 2025.

What You’ll Gain:

• Immersive Legal Experience: Work alongside experienced attorneys, participate in court shadowing, and contribute to meaningful family law cases.
• Team Collaboration: Join team and company meetings as well as collaborate with our marketing team to hold accountability and community document preparation sessions.
• Client Interaction: Provide pro bono and limited-scope legal assistance through our Legal Clinic, helping real clients navigate complex family law matters.
• Mentorship & Skill Development: Receive guidance and mentorship from our legal team while building critical skills in client advocacy, legal research, and document drafting.

$20 hourly

• Assist family law clients with pro bono and limited-scope projects, including drafting pleadings, motions, briefs, and discovery requests/responses
• Participate in accountability meetings with other interns and document preparation sessions for community outreach
• Maintain client confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards
• Manage deadlines and complete tasks efficiently while following firm guidelines and protocols

• This position is only available to law school students who are Arizona Supreme Court Rule 39(c)(4) eligible
• All applicants must be a 2L or 3L at an accredited school of law
• Strong legal research, writing, and communication skills
• Ability to thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment
