ADP is hiring a Lead Product Operations Manager

Reporting to the Director Product Management - Operations, the Lead Product Operations Manager is a key player in managing the overall product scope to ensure we are setup for success with each release. You will work with cross-functional teams driving the operational process changes that will ensure product investments are successful in the hands of our clients and associates.

This position is best suited for candidates who embrace the challenges associated with driving cross departmental delivery excellence at a rapidly growing Human Capital Management (HCM) software solutions provider. The Product Operations Manager is accountable for ensuring operational success from a product management perspective and maintaining an operational framework that will support the success of the product.

Your primary stakeholders are the business which includes service, sales, implementation and other various teams.

The Product Operations Manager should have knowledge of Human Capital Management Systems (HCM ) and an interest in understanding the product functionality. This position requires a deep understanding of product management, operations, and change management.

What you’ll do: Responsibilities

What You Can Expect On a Typical Day

  • Product Release planning: Work with the teams on release schedules, release scope, managing dependencies, pilot and general availability features.
  • Stakeholder communication: Keep all relevant stakeholders informed about release progress, potential risks, and any necessary adjustments.
  • Change management: Manage changes to the release scope, including communicating updates to the team and stakeholders.
  • Post-release analysis: Gathers feedback from users and monitors performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.
  • Lead the successful delivery of all activities relating to the product release cycle, including pilot, enablement planning and the roll out of products/projects to the field.
  • Work with product leaders to ensure that stakeholder feedback in Product Roadmaps is captured and considered proactively on an ongoing basis.
  • Provide product metrics and updates on what we are delivering.

TO SUCCEED IN THIS ROLE: Requirements

  • Minimum 8 years of experience in product management, product operations or release management areas
  • Strong MS Office Skills (PowerPoint/Excel) required.

Great to have:

  • Experience with HCM Experience is preferred
  • Deep understanding of Product Management function and operational best practices
  • Superior verbal and written communication skills.
  • Superior Presentation skills.
  • Ability to collaborate and work effectively within cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to negotiate, convince and lead with influence.

Base salary offers for this position may vary based on factors such as location, skills, and relevant experience. Some positions may include additional compensation in the form of bonus, equity or commissions. The compensation for this role is $77,100.00 - $206,820.00 / Year
