This is a hybrid position operating 3 days in our Seattle, WA office, and 2 days remote. Key Responsibilities Administrative Support: Provide comprehensive administrative support to attorneys, monitoring active litigation matter and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations Drafting and Proofreading: Draft and proofread legal correspondence, pleadings, and other legal documents with high accuracy and attention to detail Calendaring: Manage the attorneys' calendar, appointments, court dates, and meetings efficiently; maintain court docket for practice group; schedule and coordinate IMEs for plaintiff Filing: Execute filing procedures, ensuring compliance with legal protocols and deadlines Review State & Federal dockets to identify and pull pertinent filings Review medical records and add relevant dates/information to the medical chronology Review Plaintiff's Answers to Interrogatories Assist with discovery including, but not limited to collecting, processing, reviewing and analysis of paper documents and electronically stored information (ESI) Review of files for production and prepare privilege logs Blue booking cases and creating Declarations referring to exhibits/citations in Briefs Prepare HIPPA Authorization Forms for Plaintiff's execution and return Retrieval of medical records from providers, and follow-up with providers to ensure receipt of records of HIPPA request Perform Jury Verdict Searches Manage trial logistics, trial preparation including witness and trial binders, and compiling and tracking trial exhibits Required Experience Minimum 3 years of experience in insurance coverage and defense litigation Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (advanced Word, Excel and Outlook) Familiarity and background in capturing billable time for client tasks in billing software Excellent organizational, communication, and proofreading skills and a meticulous attention to detail Knowledge of insurance policies, ability to identify key terms, limits, premiums Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize effectively Thorough working knowledge of and experience working and filing within the Federal and Washington court systems Paralegal Certificate from an ABA accredited program preferred or relevant years of experience The annualized salary range for this role may range from $75,000 to $85,000; however, actual salary is contingent upon level of experience and other job-related factors permitted by law.
