Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Low Voltage Installation Technician to join our client's team. This individual will be responsible for the installation, testing, and maintenance of low voltage cabling and networking equipment for commercial buildings. The ideal candidate will have experience in structured cabling, working in construction environments, and understanding industry standards and best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and repair low voltage systems such as security systems and network infrastructure.
- Perform regular tests and troubleshooting to ensure systems are functioning properly.
- Keep accurate records of work performed and materials used.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Low Voltage Technician or similar role.
- Strong understanding of low voltage systems and wiring.
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents and blueprints.
- Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- Physical ability to lift heavy equipment and work in various conditions.
- Experience in UTP and Fiber Optic Cable Installation
- Knowledge of Analog and Digital Cameras
- Successful candidate shall display knowledge and understanding on how to install Conduit / raceway / innerduct
- Must have knowledge of Inside / outside manufacturing plant and campus environments.
- Construction / Industrial work environment.
