Job Description

JLL is seeking a Mail Clerk to work on-site in Cranberry Township/Wexford, PA. The role involves mail organization duties such as sorting and collecting mail, disposing of junk mail, sorting returned letters, adjustments, bills, orders, and payments, resolving issues with incorrect or returned mail, receiving outgoing mail and applying correct postage, arranging for pickup of outgoing mail, stamping mail with postage meters, folding letters and inserting into envelopes for distribution. Mail distribution tasks include placing mail in proper buckets for distribution, processing outgoing shipments via Fed-Ex, UPS, DHL, and USPS, and weighing mail to determine correct postage. Shipping and receiving responsibilities include coordinating and planning outgoing shipments using client vendors, receiving incoming deliveries through package management systems, and delivering and retrieving packages using mobile equipment. Candidates must have a high school diploma or GED, previous mailroom experience is preferred, and excellent English communication skills both written and oral are required. Strong computer skills including word processing, database entry, fax, scanning, and email management are essential. Physical requirements include the ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs, spend much of the day on feet, work quickly with hands, and have good hand/eye coordination. The work schedule is Monday-Friday 7:30 AM to 4 PM plus overtime.
