Become the Maintenance Supervisor you always wanted to be

• Maintains a working knowledge of all Physical plant systems, and related, regulatory standards.
• Implements preventive maintenance programs and makes adjustments to ensure effectiveness.
• Responds when needed to routine and emergency repair calls.
• Oversees Maintenance staff and participates in preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
• Works with service contractors to ensure proper and timely completion of maintenance.
• Participates in planning and executing construction and/or renovation projects as required.
• Coordinates ongoing maintenance of hospital-owned motor vehicles.
• Learns new practices and regulations, and shares responsibility for bridging knowledge gaps.
• Ensures access to the hospital and safe conditions in the care environment.

Qualifications

• Current valid state drivers license required.
• High School graduate or equivalent preferred; college desirable.
• Prior management/supervisory experience required.
• Experience in facilities maintenance, construction trades required. Healthcare experience preferred.
