Position Overview

We are seeking a Content Creator/Community Manager/Marketing Assistant to join our dynamic team in West Hollywood, CA. This hybrid full-time role combines creative content creation, strategic marketing, and community engagement. You’ll play a vital role in driving our mission forward and building the personal brand of our founder while utilizing innovative growth strategies powered by AI technologies.

Key Responsibilities

Content Creation & Strategy

• Plan, script, film, and edit high-quality video content for TikTok, Instagram (Reels/Stories), YouTube Shorts, LinkedIn, and blogs.
• Develop and execute creative content strategies aligned with Better U’s mission and the personal branding goals of our founder.
• Create eye-catching visuals using tools like Canva or Adobe Creative Suite.
• Leverage AI tools like ChatGPT, Synthesia, Jasper AI, and MidJourney to streamline workflows and enhance creativity.

Community Management

• Foster a supportive and engaged online community by responding to comments and messages promptly.
• Build relationships with followers and influencers aligned with our mission.
• Monitor and manage interactions across social platforms to build brand loyalty and a positive reputation.

Personal Brand Building

• Collaborate with the founder to amplify their personal brand through storytelling and curated content.
• Execute strategies to grow engagement and followers on @derekddd ’s social media platforms.

Marketing Operations

• Assist with daily marketing operations, including campaign planning, execution, and performance tracking.
• Coordinate email campaigns, manage social media content, and ensure cohesive brand messaging across channels.
• Implement AI-driven marketing strategies for customer acquisition and retention.
• Conduct market research to identify trends in mental health advocacy and digital marketing.

Analytics & Growth Hacking

• Track performance metrics using tools like Google Analytics, CRM platforms, and social insights to refine strategies.
• Develop innovative campaigns (e.g., user-generated content) to expand audience reach and drive engagement.

Who You Are

• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in social media management, content creation, or marketing in creative or tech-driven industries.
• Strong video production skills, including proficiency in tools like Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, CapCut, or VEED.IO.
• Deep knowledge of social media platforms (TikTok, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube Shorts) and viral content strategies.
• Proficient in using AI tools like ChatGPT, Jasper AI, Synthesia, and Descript for content creation and optimization.
• Experience in CRM tools and analytics platforms (e.g., GoHighLevel, Google Tag Manager).
• Creative, proactive, and able to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment.
• Strong communication and project management skills, with the ability to juggle multiple tasks. Experience with Monday.com is a big plus!
