Job Description Job Title: Mechanical Designer/Engineer Location: Kennesaw, GA Are you a seasoned Mechanical Designer/Engineer with a passion for designing large-scale industrial equipment and a mastery of Autodesk Inventor? We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Mechanical Designer/Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and detailing industrial equipment per customer specifications, utilizing your strong Inventor skills and extensive experience.
About the Role: - Industrial Equipment Design: You will design and detail large industrial equipment, including weldments, ductwork, and other heavy industrial components, using Autodesk Inventor.
- Technical Documentation: You will create multi-view detailed drawings, models, and assemblies for equipment general arrangements, field erection drawings, and shop fabrication drawings.
- Project Collaboration: You will work closely with project managers and engineering teams to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Communication & Coordination: You will effectively communicate project information to team leaders in other engineering disciplines, ensuring seamless integration of design elements.
Who You Are: - Experienced Professional: You have 5+ years of working experience in the mechanical design field, utilizing Inventor to produce industrial equipment designs.
- Industrial Expertise: You possess significant experience with heavy industrial equipment, including weldments, ductwork, or similar large-scale components.
- Inventor Expert: You are highly proficient in Autodesk Inventor.
- Detail-Oriented: You have a strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing accurate and high-quality designs.
- A Strong Communicator: You possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Additional Info: - Term: This is a 6-month temp to perm opportunity.
- Pay Range: $28.00 - $45.00 per hour depending on prior experience.
