Tecomet is seeking a skilled Mechanical Maintenance Technician to join our high-performance team in Wilmington, MA. This is a hands-on role supporting state-of-the-art CNC equipment and facility operations in a clean, climate-controlled, and fast-paced precision manufacturing environment.

About the Role\n

You’ll be responsible for preventative maintenance, equipment troubleshooting, repairs, and facilities support across our medical device and aerospace manufacturing operations. From CNC equipment and pneumatic systems to general building upkeep, this role plays a vital part in ensuring production runs smoothly and safely.

What You'll Do\n

• Inspect, diagnose, and perform preventive maintenance on machinery and equipment
\n
• Troubleshoot CNC equipment and mechanical systems
\n
• Install, repair, and maintain pipe, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems
\n
• Perform general facility maintenance (painting, plumbing, carpentry, HVAC)
\n
• Support inventory management for maintenance parts and tools
\n
• Read blueprints, schematics, and maintenance manuals
\n
• Operate forklift and perform material handling tasks
\n
• Respond to maintenance requests and emergencies efficiently
\n
• Help maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment
\n
• Assist with special projects and cross-functional team needs
\n

✅ What We're Looking For\n

\n
• High school diploma or equivalent
\n
• 3–5 years of experience in mechanical maintenance
\n
• Working knowledge of CNC equipment and preventative maintenance
\n
• Proficiency with calipers, micrometers, and multimeters
\n
• Familiarity with HVAC systems and facility operations
\n
• Ability to read blueprints and mechanical drawings
\n
• Forklift operator's license (or willingness to obtain)
\n
• Journeyman’s card a plus, but not required
\n
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
\n
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
\n
