Qualifications
Certification required: CPC, CCS, or equivalent (AAPC or AHIMA certification).
Medical coding experience in a hospital or healthcare setting preferred.
Strong knowledge of ICD-10-CM, CPT, and HCPCS Level II coding standards.
Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) and billing systems.
Excellent attention to detail, analytical skills, and ability to meet deadlines.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Medical billing experience a plus.
