Top support and success teams at companies like Hightouch, Merge, and Sardine use Pylon to manage their customer support across Slack Connect, Microsoft Teams, Email, In-App Chat, Slack Community—all in one place.

Having recently raised a Series A, we are looking for the next passionate engineers to join our team.

About the role

We’re building an all-in-one support platform powered by conversational data and layered with intelligence to help our customers run their operations in real-time. Pylon is a tool that thousands of users spend most of their day in.

• You dislike meetings and would much rather focus your time on building, being productive, and shipping code.
• You have strong engineering fundamentals, code efficiently, and you know what you're great at and what you're less great at.
• You thrive when you have autonomy, own as many of the details as possible, and project manage your own work.
• You're in SF or you're willing to relocate, you love working in-person, and you're serious about joining us to build a culture we'll all love.

We're hiring fullstack, frontend, and backend engineers. We work with React, Golang, GraphQL, and AWS.

You'll join a strong technical team of senior engineers from places like Samsara, Affinity, and Airbnb.

About Pylon

Post-covid, businesses have started shifting the way they communicate with customers from email to chat platforms like Slack, Microsoft Teams, and Discord. At Pylon, we are building a real-time customer operations platform to help support, success, and sales teams at places like Hightouch, Merge, and Sardine scalably meet their customers where they live.

Just like how Zendesk made email scalable in a support context, Mailchimp made email scalable in a marketing context, and Salesforce & Outreach made email scalable in a sales context, Pylon is making chat scalable across customer-facing functions.

We most often replace Zendesk, Intercom, Salesforce Service Cloud.

Traction: Have hundreds of paying customers and are growing 15% MoM.

Funding: In addition to investment from Y Combinator and General Catalyst , we just announced our $17m Series A led by a16z !

Founders: Advith Chelikani , Robert Eng , and Marty Kausas .

Team: Currently 18 with 10 engineers.
