New Model Evaluation Intern What You Will Do: - Test and evaluate Chassis/PT/EL/INFO concerns for new vehicle models and provide recommendations for improvement
- Investigate/support testing and evaluation of Chassis/PT/EL quality issues on Hyundai, Genesis, or Kia vehicles responding to requests from Hyundai Motor Group, sales affiliates, vehicle assembly plants, and sudden increases in warranty claims
- Conduct on-site investigations to collect subjective and objective data during driving to identify concerns to perform root cause analysis
- Basic knowledge of Chassis/PT/EL fundamentals including NVH, Steering, Ride & Handling, Brakes, EV System, ADAS, Infotainment, etc.
- Ability to provide support in collaboration with other groups/affiliates of test plans for the various quality tests done for new models
- Engineering analysis and research results for 'lessons learned' on current and future models
- Benchmark competitive vehicles to research differences and improve HMG vehicle systems
- Conduct vehicle audits for Hyundai & Kia models during developmental stages and after vehicle launch
- Create and present technical and weekly reports as assigned
- Perform additional projects as assigned
What You Will Bring to the Role: - Pursuing a bachelor's degree in mechanical or electrical engineering
- Valid Drivers License and a satisfactory driving record
