Ram Distributors was founded in 2001 and today is known as one of the leading convenience store distributors in the state of Tennessee. Ram specializes in all of your grocery and tobacco products such as drinks, candy, cigarettes, cigars, health & beauty products, and automotive products.

We are seeking a highly motivated Delivery Driver to join our team at Ram Distributors. As a Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for ensuring that our goods are safely and promptly transported to their destinations. Your role is crucial in maintaining our commitment to exception customer service. If you have a strong track record of safe driving, attention to detail, and a customer-centric approach, we welcome you to join our team and contribute to the smooth functioning of our distribution network. This position offers a 5-day work week Monday through Friday.

Essential Functions

• Safely operate delivery vehicles, such as 16ft Box Trucks, to transport products from the distribution facillity to our retail partners
• Follow assigned routes and schedules to ensure timely and accurate deliveries
• Unload products from the delivery vehicle, ensuring proper handling and securing of items to prevent damage
• Verify and reconcile product quantities and quality with invoices and delivery documents
• Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies while driving and making deliveries.
• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date delivery logs, including mileage, fuel consumption, and delivery times
• Provide exceptional customer service by interacting professionally with store personnel and promptly addressing inquiries or concerns
• Conduct routine inspections of the delivery vehicle to ensure proper functioning and report any mechanical issues or damages
• Follow established procedures for product returns and maintain accurate records of returns or rejected items
