Job Title: Oracle Database Administrator
Duration: 12 months (with possible extension)
Location: Los Angeles, CA (Remote)
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve errors with Oracle and MongoDB database systems.
- Deploy and monitor Oracle PL/SQL functions and procedures.
- Provide project documentation and information as needed.
- Assist in design discussions for the creation of new database systems.
- Enforce accepted industry standards for security and optimization.
- Assist staff in updating the Department's applications during production deployments.
- Ensure information systems standards are implemented and enforced to maintain the integrity of the applications.
- Follow the directions, coordinate, and effectively interact with the Systems staff.
- Provide production supporting mission-critical applications.
Required qualification :
- 4+ years' experience in the support of Oracle.
- Proficiency in PL/SQL and Stored Procedures.
- 1+ years' experience in the support of MongoDB.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks in a timely manner.
- Ability to work independently in a team environment.
Evaluation Criteria :
- Oracle Support and experience.
- PL/SQL experience.
- MongoDB Support and experience.
- Experience working with government agencies.
