Remote Bookkeeper - Multi-Client Management Location: Remote
Schedule: Core Business Hours (9 AM - 5 PM EST) Required

Position Overview Our client is seeking an experienced
Remote Bookkeeper who thrives in a dynamic, multi-client environment. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented accounting professional who can seamlessly manage multiple sets of company books simultaneously while maintaining accuracy and building strong client relationships.
Critical Requirements: - MUST be available during core business hours (9 AM - 5 PM EST) for real-time client collaboration
- MUST have proven experience managing bookkeeping for multiple clients/entities simultaneously
Key Responsibilities Financial Management & Reporting - Prepare accurate and timely financial reports and statements for multiple clients
- Perform monthly bank and credit card reconciliations
- Compile and analyze financial statements to provide meaningful insights
- Create ad-hoc reports tailored to various business needs and client requests
- Conduct cyclical audits to ensure accuracy and compliance
Tax & Compliance Support - Prepare tax documents and supporting schedules
- Maintain organized records for tax preparation and audit purposes
- Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations
Strategic Financial Support - Manage budgeting and forecasting activities for multiple clients
- Analyze financial periodicals and trends
- Provide financial insights and recommendations to support business decision-making
- Serve as a trusted financial advisor to clients
Client Relationship Management - Build and maintain strong, professional relationships with diverse clients
- Communicate financial information clearly to non-financial stakeholders
- Respond promptly to client inquiries during business hours
- Coordinate with clients on financial planning and reporting needs
Required Qualifications Experience & Education - Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (required)
- Proven experience managing bookkeeping for multiple clients or companies simultaneously (essential - not just one set of books)
- Demonstrated ability to context-switch between different client books efficiently
- Strong track record of accuracy in a fast-paced, multi-client environment
Technical Skills - QuickBooks Online proficiency (primary platform used)
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, financial modeling)
- Fluency in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint)
- Ability to quickly learn new accounting software as needed
- Comfortable working in cloud-based platforms and collaboration tools
