Manpower is partnering with a Fort Collins electronic company to find an experienced Electronic Assembler . This individual should have soldering and PCB experience. Apply today!

Pay: $20-$23/hour, depending on experience
Shift: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM, Monday through Friday

POSITION SUMMARY

Performs basic and routine electronic assembly operations on components or subassemblies. Assembles electronic components, subassemblies, and chassis to meet production schedules and performance standards. Duties and tasks are standardized but may vary day to day.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Use Operational Method Sheets, drawings, schematics, electronic assembly equipment, and verbal/written instructions to assemble, modify, rework, or reassemble units.
• Work on assignments that are semi-routine in nature, with the ability to recognize nonconformities.
• Communicate openly and effectively in a professional manner.
• Understand and follow all safety requirements.
• Adhere to ISO practices and procedures.
• Maintain fixturing, and perform calibration, preventive maintenance, and corrective maintenance.
• Assist with training other employees in established processes.
• Travel may be required.
• Consider the impact of quality on customers when making decisions.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

Work in a manufacturing environment that may be noisy and fast-paced. Many tasks involve repetitive motion and the use of electronic assembly equipment. Overtime (OT) may be required during periods of increased production or service repairs.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Ability to perform basic reading, writing, and math functions.
• Soldering skills are required.
• Ability to perform basic electro/mechanical assembly tasks.
• Component identification and the ability to read technical assembly documentation.
• Basic PC knowledge.
• Knowledge of SAP is preferred.
• Ability to effectively work in a team environment.
• Model positive and professional work ethics.
• Consider the impact on quality when making decisions.

EXPERIENCE

• Previous experience in electro/mechanical assembly is preferred.
• Proven ability to maintain flexibility and adapt in a team environment.
• Knowledge and understanding of ESD practices.
