Position Summary: The
Registered Nurse (RN) provides direct patient care and clinical coordination within our behavioral health units, delivering quality, compassionate care for
child (ages 5-17), adult, geriatric and
forensic patients. You†ll work collaboratively within an interdisciplinary team to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized treatment plans while maintaining a safe, therapeutic environment.
Reports to: Chief Nursing Officer
FLSA: Non-Exempt
Education & Licensure Requirements: Education: - Graduate of an accredited Nursing program (ADN) Required , BSN Preferred.
Licensure: - Current unencumbered RN license in the state of Massachusetts (or compact state as applicable) Required .
Certifications: - BLS (CPR) - Required upon hire.
- CPI or Handle With Care - Preferred .
Required Skills & Experience: - Graduate of an accredited nursing program - Required.
- 6+ months Med/Surg experience - Preferred.
- Behavioral Health or Psychiatric experience - Preferred.
- Strong communication, assessment, and de-escalation skills .
- Calm, compassionate, and focused under pressure.
- Team-oriented with a passion for patient-centered care.
- Understanding of Trauma -informed care (Preferred).
Department Overview: Our
Behavioral Health Department is a
150-bed inpatient facility designed to foster healing, safety, and innovation.
With a
1:6-1:8 nurse-to-patient ratio , our nurses provide specialized, compassionate care across children, adults, geriatrics, and forensic units.
