If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and take pride in your work, our line cook/prep cook role may be just the job for you!\n\nRESPONSIBILITIES\n -Efficiently prepares food items as ordered.\n-Exercises food safety and kitchen sanitation practices in order to deliver a quality product.\n-Weighs, measures, and mixes ingredients according to recipes.\n-Properly prepares meat, fish, vegetables, and other ingredients.\n-Stays ahead of orders by anticipating demand throughout shift.\n-Maintains cleanliness and working order of work area, tools, equipment, and supplies.\n-Prepares and maintains the line and par levels as required by the current menu.\n-Keeps walk in cooler/freezer organized.\n-May assist with inventory temp logs and waste logs.\n\nThe ideal candidate will:\n-Have knowledge of food service regulations.\n-Skillfully uses hand tools or machines needed for the position.\n-Be able to work in a fast paced environment.\n-Be able to lift, carry, or pull objects that may be heavy and able to stand for extended periods of time.\n-Is able to prioritize, organize, and manage multiple tasks.\n\nWe look forward to seeing you soon for an interview at Main Event Chesterfield for our full time or part time line cook/prep cook role.
