The North Kansas City Public Library is seeking a part-time Library Clerk who is passionate about engaging patrons from all backgrounds and providing excellent customer service.
Duties Include: Assisting customers, circulation desk tasks, shelving books, maintaining an inviting library atmosphere and a variety of other duties as needed.
Requirements/Desired Qualities: High School diploma or GED. Computer skills. Excellent customer service and a positive attitude. Willingness to learn, accept help & ask questions when needed.
12 Hours per week . Schedule would be Tuesday 9-1, Thursday 9-1 and Saturday 1-5. More shifts available based on availability and need. (Morning shift 9-1, Afternoon shifts 1-5, Evening shifts 5-9)
Previous public library experience preferred.
