Job Title: Inspector
Location: Sterling, VA
Duration: 2 Month Contract with potential for extension or full-time conversion
Job Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Inspector II with hands-on experience in inspecting metal components. This is a short-term contract role with the possibility of extension or conversion to a permanent position based on performance and business needs.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform inspections on metal parts to ensure they meet quality and specification standards
Interpret and analyze technical drawings and blueprints
Use standard measurement tools such as calipers, rulers, and other gauges
Document inspection results using MS Excel and Word
Ensure compliance with industry quality standards
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent
Minimum of 1 year of relevant inspection experience
Proficient with basic computer applications (Excel, Word)
Ability to read and understand technical prints and drawings
Familiarity with the following standards:
IPC-A-610 (Acceptability of Electronic Assemblies)
IPC/WHMA-A-620 (Requirements for Cable and Wire Harness Assemblies)
AS9100 (Quality Management Systems – Aerospace)
