Gensco currently has an amazing opportunity available to join our Human Resources Team at our Corporate Offices in Tacoma, WA as a Recruiting Coordinator! Schedule - Monday- Friday from 7:30am-4:00pm or 8:00am-4:30pm (in-person in Tacoma, WA)
Full Time - starting pay range $22-$28 per hour based on experience
Summary As a Recruiting Coordinator, you will make customer service for both internal and external customers top priority. This Team Member performs a variety of recruiting services to help Gensco achieve hiring objectives including placing job ads, attendance at career fairs, candidate assessment, coordinating interviews, and support Gensco's internship programs.
Duties and Responsibilities - Provide guidance and support to Hiring Managers through the recruiting and hiring process
- Perform a variety of recruiting services to help Gensco achieve hiring objectives to include placing job ads, recruiting at career fairs, candidate assessment, and coordinating interviews
- With guidance and oversight by the Recruiting Supervisor, support Gensco's internship programs
- Network and build relationships with key partners in the community to build a pipeline of qualified candidates for Gensco for the future
Skills and Qualifications - 4-year degree highly preferred or equivalent experience
- Recruiting work experience preferred
- Strong computer skills - MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) required
- Proactive, self-motivated, able to recognize issues and resolve or escalate appropriately
- Demonstrated ability to manage details and meet deadlines with 100% accuracy in a fast, multi-task environment
- Strong people skills, customer service-oriented approach, responds to requests with a sense of urgency
- High degree of honesty, ethics and integrity with prior work experience handling confidential information
- Willing to "think outside of the box" and identify process improvement opportunities
- Ability to research and analyze various types of data
- Able to work sitting or standing and to move freely throughout the facility
- Able to lift and carry equipment and supplies on a frequent basis
- Travel is required to local and remote recruiting events via car, air, etc.
