Job Description

One of our top clients, a leading healthcare organization, is seeking a compassionate and experienced Regional Nurse Consultant .

Regional Nurse Responsibilities:

* Routinely Consults with assigned facilities: Resident Care, State & Federal Surveys, Regulatory Compliance, and Clinical Services
* Driving clinical outcomes, implementing clinical policies and procedures, and ensuring compliance with State & Federal regulations
* Assess & Evaluate clinical services in assigned facilities to identify areas for clinical improvement
* Identify clinical development opportunities
* Act as Regional Mentor and coach for success at local facilities
* Schedule regional training and professional development for DONs no less than quarterly
* Provide assistance & support throughout the survey process including preparation for survey, writing a plan of correction and developing an action plan, and monitoring for compliance

Regional Nurse Qualifications:

* 3 - 5 years prior experience as a Regional Nurse Consultant and/or Regional Director of Nursing in a Long-Term Care environment
* Valid NY RN License
* REQUIRED : Extensive travel
* Supervisory Experience in healthcare setting
* Excellent knowledge of State & Federal guidelines
* Excellent interpersonal & leadership skills
* Excellent Communication skills
