Job Title: Regional Property Manager Location: Will travel to properties in Somerset, Bergen, Morris, Monmouth & Ocean Counties Type: Direct-Hire Opportunity Compensation: $85,000 - $95,000 annually Contractor Work Model: Onsite / Traveling. This position requires traveling throughout multiple properties. Traveling is at least 50% or more of the time. Hours: 8:00 AM-4:30 PM | Monday-Friday Regional Property Manager Job Summary: Manage daily operations across all properties in the region, including maintenance, leasing, and customer service. Share feedback and ideas based on site visits. Hire and manage property management department staff. Conduct performance evaluations that are timely and constructive when applicable. Handle discipline of employees as needed and in accordance with company policy. Help create and carry out marketing and leasing plans to keep properties full and increase rental income. Inspect properties regularly to ensure safety, cleanliness, and curb appeal. Lead, train, and support on-site property managers and staff to maintain smooth operations. Respond to tenant issues and complaints quickly and professionally. Find ways to cut costs and improve the efficiency and profitability of property operations. Make sure all properties follow local, state, and federal laws and regulations. Use property management software to improve operations and track performance. Build strong relationships with tenants to keep them happy and engaged. Regional Property Manager Job Requirements: Job-specific certifications such as a Certified Apartment Manager (CAM) are preferred. Extensive experience in property management or a related field required, typically between 5-10 years, with a proven track record of managing multiple properties or a comparable portfolio. Strong knowledge of the property market, and current legislation affecting property management. Proficiency in using property management software. Experience managing properties and improving day-to-day operations. Strong communication skills, both spoken and written. Great with people and focused on providing excellent customer service. Strong leadership skills and the ability to train and guide team members. Good with budgeting, planning, and making sure properties perform well. Knowledge of property management laws and best practices. Comfortable using Microsoft Office or similar computer programs.
