Q Center is looking for a Revenue Manager to join our team!
Job Summary
The Revenue Manager is responsible for optimizing revenue generation and maximizing profitability. This is achieved through catering and space utilization as well as other revenue considerations to determine the appropriate mix of business to maximize revenue potential every day of every year. This position is accountable for pricing, positioning and all meeting and guest room inventory and providing weekly forecast updates for Operational Leadership, ensuring Operations Teams are aware of current strategies and have the information needed to execute them.
The schedule for this position is Monday-Friday 7:30am-4pm

Education & Experience
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a hospitality conference services or related field; or a 4-year college degree and at least 2 years of related experience required.
- Proficient computer knowledge/skills required.
Physical Requirements
- Flexible and long hours sometimes required.
- Light work - Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects.
Fundamental Requirements
- Manage both the guestroom and meeting space inventory at Q Center to maximize occupancy which includes quoting availability to both Sales and Catering and Key Account.
- Optimizes the utilization of property inventory by executing appropriate function space planning, space negotiation and confirmation of session bookings.
- Assigns all preliminary function space while providing scheduling solutions to accommodate oversold situations.
- Daily oversight of group pattern management and pricing process.
- Submits reports in a timely manner, ensuring delivery deadlines.
- Analyzes weekly and monthly revenue information to assist in analyzing past strategies; identifies areas needing improvement.
- Analyzes weekly, monthly, period end and other available systems data to identify trends, future need periods and obstacles to achieving goals.
- Provide weekly forecast updates for Operational Leadership, ensuring Operations Teams are aware of current strategies and have the information needed to execute them (daily strategies, current day inventory management, and package inclusions).
- Implementing pricing and profitability strategies.
