Salary Range: $32.00 - $48.00
Department Details The RN position in the OR with our Surgery Department is full time with various day shifts available 8, 10 or 12 hour shifts available. Most shifts start at 6:30am. The main shift that the surgical nurse would be working is 6:30am - 3:00pm. In a typical 4 week schedule, the nurse would work 3-4 shifts that start later than the 6:30am start (including shifts that begin at 9:00am, 10:30am, & 12:30pm) and 1-2 overnight call shifts. This RN position would be scheduled weekend rotations (Saturday & Sunday). 1 - 2 holidays per year.

Responsibilities * Plans and coordinates patient care, assessment, education, triage and various other nursing interventions
* Collaborates with colleagues, including physicians, to plan, implement and evaluate care
* Empathetically cares for patients during all stages of preventive services, health maintenance, diagnosis, treatment and follow-up along the continuum of care
* Demonstrates competency and uses comprehensive nursing expertise
Qualifications Graduate from an accredited nursing program required, including, but not limited to, American Association of Colleges of Nursing (AACN), Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN), and National League for Nursing Commission for Nursing Education Accreditation (NLN CNEA). Bachelor’s Degree in nursing preferred.
Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring and/or possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state. Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications.
