Alta Roofing is a general contractor that operates in the Salt Lake Valley with a specialty in roofing. Alta Roofing offers top-quality roof installations to our clients along with various other services. Our organization is growing fast with room for advancement.

We are looking for a motivated individual to join our growing team. This is a full time position. Some of the responsibilities of this position will be placing roofing material orders, coordinating delivery of materials for installation crews throughout the valley, pulling the proper permits for necessary projects as well as scheduling inspections. An ideal candidate must be very detail oriented and have great organizational and communication skills. This position demands that the candidate have a strong ability to problem solve with critical thinking.

Experience/Skills:

• Familiarity with roofing systems and installation best practices/building code requirements (required)
• Proficient working in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) (required)
• Driving a Truck w/trailer (Preferred)
• Demonstrated ability to work both independently and as a part of a team
• Experience using CRM software to move projects through the work pipeline
• Excellent time management and communication skills
• Detail-oriented and good analytical skills
• Writing estimates using Xactimate (preferred)
• 4 year degree or equivalent industry experience, will train the right candidate
• Must have reliable transportation and valid drivers license (Required)

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate project management activities, resources and order materials
• Manage the daily jobs calendar and ensure it is up-to-date and accurate
• Work with project manager to eliminate any issues in a timely manner
• Submit permits and schedule inspections for necessary jobs
• Proactively look for issues that might cause job to not be completed on time
• Ability to work effectively in a team and independently
• Must have reliable transportation and valid driver's license
• Write estimates for potential roofing projects in Xactimate

Job Type: Full-time (non-remote)

Schedule: M-F with some weekends and evenings required

Pay: $40,000-$75,000 DOE
