Sales Representative - Software (SRM)

* This is a work-from-home field sales opportunity, and candidates must live in the local area.

* This position is hybrid and requires onsite meetings with clients and prospects.

Heartland is leading the charge in changing the way restaurants and retail businesses operate, and we need your help! As a Software Relationship Manager (SRM), you'll be working hard to bring Heartland's cutting-edge SaaS platform to businesses in your local area.

We're looking for a passionate, driven sales professional who knows how to build relationships and close deals. You'll be using a consultative approach to identify the unique needs of each business you work with, and creating a customized solution that helps them thrive. And the best part? You'll be doing it all while working from home and enjoying a flexible schedule (as long as you live local to the territory, of course).

Responsibilities:

  • Create a hit-list of potential clients and orchestrate the entire sales cycle, from the first phone call to the final high-five (bonus points if you're good at generating your own leads).
  • Build strong partnerships with external influencers like POS Dealers, local Web Design Firms, and BNIs to tap into a killer referral network.
  • Perform demos that are so compelling, prospects will feel like they're on the red carpet at the Oscars.
  • Collaborate with teams across the company to ensure that sales promises become sales realities.
  • Wield Atlas, our sales tool, like a ninja master to manage all sales activities.
  • Understand the competition like the back of your hand and figure out how to make Heartland shine like a disco ball.

Qualifications:

  • Highschool Diploma/GED preferred
  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Valid Drivers License
  • Successful completion of a background check
  • Completion of a mandatory drug screening on or near your sixtieth (60th) day of employment

Skills/Capabilities

  • Strong communication, organizational, and presentation skills that make everyone feel like they're talking to the most charismatic person in the room (and the ability to sell and negotiate at all levels of decision-making).
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, startup environment where every day feels like a rollercoaster ride (minus the nausea).
  • Self-starter with enough creativity and flexibility to pivot on a dime and perform like a rock star even when under pressure.
  • Experience in cold-calling and canvassing local businesses like a boss (extra credit for a track record of success).
  • Knowledge of restaurant operations is a big plus (because who doesn't love a good meal?), but both B2B and retail need our help too!
  • Sales experience is preferred, especially if you're a master of the hunt.
  • This is a remote field sales gig, but you gotta live in the local area to be considered (no teleportation devices, please).
