Exciting Opportunity with PediaStaff: School Social Worker in the Gifford, IL area

We're currently seeking a dedicated  Licensed School Social Worker  to support  K-8th grade students in one building in the Gifford, IL area for the 2025-2026 school year .

Qualifications:

• Master's Degree in Social Work along with a PEL with the school social work endorsement
• Would consider an LPC

Role Overview:
As a School Social Worker, you'll provide critical support to students. You'll collaborate with another social worker to address students' social-emotional needs, develop intervention strategies, and support their academic success. This role offers the opportunity to work with young learners in a supportive school environment while making a lasting impact on their development.

Job Details:

• Schedule:  Full or part time (If part time, 3-4 days per week)
• Dates:  August 12, 2025 - May 22, 2026
• Hours:  8:15 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.
• Setting:  K-8th, one building
• Caseload: Approximately 15 students
• In-person only

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide individual and group social work services to elementary students, push-in classroom
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to develop intervention plans
• Conduct assessments and maintain appropriate documentation
• Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
