Role: SEO Analyst

Location: New York, NY

Hybrid/On-site/Remote: Hybrid

Salary: $65-80k

Responsibilities:

  • Technical SEO & Client Deliverables: Execute daily SEO tactics across various client accounts, providing technical consultation and implementation support to achieve strategic goals.
  • Strategic Alignment: Work in accordance with established SEO campaign objectives to ensure all activities contribute to overall success.
  • Client Communication & Reporting: Generate regular client reports and deliverable materials, clearly communicating performance and insights.
  • Cross-Team Collaboration: Partner with other media teams to seamlessly integrate SEO efforts into broader client strategies.
  • Performance Monitoring & Analysis: Track, analyze, and report on key SEO metrics to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
  • Technical SEO Implementation: Implement on-page and off-page optimization strategies, addressing technical SEO elements to enhance website visibility.
  • Content Optimization Guidance: Apply knowledge of content creation best practices to provide recommendations for content optimization.
  • SEO Best Practice Application: Stay current with evolving SEO best practices and technical considerations, applying this knowledge to client strategies.
  • Tool & Technology Utilization: Leverage industry-standard SEO tools to conduct analysis, identify opportunities, and monitor performance.
  • New Business Support: Provide assistance with new business development efforts as needed.
  • Proactive Problem Solving: Independently identify and resolve challenges, developing creative and effective solutions.
  • Deadline Management & Deliverable Completion: Ensure timely completion and delivery of high-quality work across multiple client accounts.
  • Team Collaboration: Contribute positively to the team environment, demonstrating a willingness to assist colleagues.
  • Championing Diversity & Inclusion: Advocate for positive change in Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion within the workplace.
  • Client Program Implementation: Take ownership of the implementation of strategic components within clients' organic search programs.
  • Evangelism & Education: Contribute to internal knowledge sharing and education around SEO best practices.

  • 1-3 years of professional experience in an SEO-focused role and/or specifically working with SEO.
  • Comprehensive understanding of all facets of SEO principles and practices.
  • In-depth knowledge of Google Analytics and Microsoft Office Suite applications.
  • Familiarity and/or experience with industry-standard SEO tools such as Screaming Frog, MOZ, SEMRush, Brightedge, and Conductor.
  • Thorough understanding of key search engine ranking factors.
  • Ability to conduct relevant keyword research and provide actionable recommendations.
  • Comprehensive understanding of and the ability to implement effective on-site optimization techniques.
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver results within the framework of strategic SEO campaigns.
  • Working knowledge of HTML, PHP, Javascript, and/or CSS is a significant advantage.
  • Experience with local listings management (LLM) and local SEO is a plus.
  • Brightedge Certification is highly desirable.
  • Google Analytics Certification is beneficial.
