Job Description

KDP is embarking on a multi-year transformation journey to modernize our network of 18 logistics sites. This initiative requires a strategic shift in our engineering and automation approach. Historically, automation solutions were determined at the individual plant level; however, we are moving towards a unified set of automation standards and guidelines. The Automation Manager will play a pivotal role in this transition, collaborating with the logistics sites, automation providers, and system integrators, with a strong focus on brown and greenfield sites in the near term. Key Responsibilities Develop Standards: Create automation system standards and guidelines in partnership with external suppliers and internal KDP teams, covering areas such as simulation, parts management, uptime, and performance improvements with integrators. Supplier Collaboration: Work closely with suppliers to finalize automation system specifications, ensuring design and delivery align with established standards. Testing and Validation: Conduct Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) and Site Acceptance Tests (SAT) to verify that automation systems meet performance specifications. Site Support: Participate in equipment startup at manufacturing sites and update specifications based on insights gained during startup and technological advancements. Continuous Learning: Maintain up-to-date professional and technical knowledge by attending workshops and reviewing industry publications, while adhering to all safety regulations.
