Our client, Power & Water Solutions industry is seeking a Senior Controls Installation Engineer to join their team. As a Senior Controls Installation Engineer, you will be part of the Engineering Department supporting critical infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Senior Controls Installation Engineer

Location: Cranberry Township, PA

What's the Job?

• Interpret and revise electrical schematic drawings to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Conduct wire audits and perform field verification trips at customer sites to validate installation quality.
• Design control system hardware tailored to meet specific customer needs and operational requirements.
• Develop and partition I/O databases to facilitate efficient control system operation.
• Create detailed drawing packages related to installation design solutions for seamless project execution.
• Supervise installation subcontractors during site activities, including installation and commissioning phases.
• Collaborate effectively with other business units to ensure project alignment and success.
• Manage multiple concurrent projects with efficiency and attention to detail.

What's Needed?

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or an equivalent qualification.
• Minimum of 5+ years of related experience in control systems and electrical design.
• Familiarity with Ovation, WDPF, and other DCS and PLC manufacturers' I/O and cabinet layouts.
• Experience in the design, implementation, and testing of plant control systems.
• Knowledge of plant instrumentation signals and field wiring practices.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD or similar design software.
• Willingness to travel up to 30% to support project needs.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States; sponsorship is not available for this position.
