General Summary of Position:
The University of Massachusetts Lowell is proud to receive designation from the federal government as an Asian American Native American Pacific Islander Serving Institution (AANAPISI). Funding aims to mitigate AAPI students’ barriers to educational achievement by enhancing institutional programs and services. The purpose of this position is to perform specialized duties related to the activities and operations of the federally funded Title III AANAPISI grant and to provide complex analytical support.
Under the direction of the Director of the Office of Data, Analytics, and Institutional Research (DAIR) the Senior Data Analyst will work closely with AANAPISI PIs to conduct specialized data collection and analyses related to program participation and evaluation, including customized reports that disaggregate program results. Data will inform ongoing feedback loop for program improvement for UML with the goal to positively affect processes system wide.
The position also works closely with the Enterprise Data Architect supporting requests for information and compile appropriate and accurate responses to these data requests. They will support the ongoing development of the DAIR data warehouse (dataUML) including testing, maintenance of DAIR reporting documents and source data, and documenting methodologies employed, and data sources utilized. They will also be responsible for supporting the development of Tableau dashboards for internal and user-facing self-service data needs.

This is a Grants & Contracts (MTA/GRACE) bargaining unit position, Grade P19.
