CEC Entertainment is the global leader in family entertainment and operator of Chuck E. Cheese and Peter Piper restaurants. We have an immediate opening at our Support Center for an experienced Sr. Income Tax Accountant. This position reports directly to the Income Tax Manager and is based in Irving, TX. Primary Roles and Responsibilities include performing all duties with a friendly sense of urgency in support of corporate objectives, preparing and/or assisting in the preparation of Federal, State, City and Local, Canada and other International Income Tax Returns including estimated taxes, other necessary filing requirements, assisting with Federal and State Income/Franchise Tax audits and responding to notices/correspondence from state and local jurisdictions, compiling data and updating schedules for quarterly and annual tax provisions, maintaining and updating the tax calendar and SOX 404 Processes related to taxes, preparing and updating property tax accruals and payments, and performing other duties as directed by supervisors or corporate management. Qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree (required), CPA preferred, 3+ years of Income Tax Compliance experience, experience with Corptax Compliance Software (a plus), working knowledge of CCH tax research software, strong financial accounting skills, proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, strong communication skills, and experience with Workday ERP (a plus).
