We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Sheet Metal Superintendent to lead field operations and ensure the successful execution of our construction projects. This role is pivotal in managing day-to-day job site activities, maintaining quality control, and coordinating subcontractors to meet project goals efficiently and safely.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
What You'll Do
Reporting to the Construction Manager, your role will include:
Oversee daily job site operations and short-term scheduling
Coordinate staffing needs and participate in hiring decisions
Attend preconstruction meetings and site orientations
Ensure compliance with plans, specifications, codes, and inspection procedures
Manage field office setup, temporary services, and equipment logistics
Collaborate with Project Manager on scheduling and procurement
Monitor labor reports and field staff performance
Enforce safety policies and conduct weekly safety meetings
Maintain quality control and resolve on-site conflicts
Submit required documentation and timecards promptly
Participate in project closeout and walk-throughs
Qualifications
What You Bring
Required:
Minimum 5 years of construction supervision experience
Completion of a State Union Apprenticeship program
Valid Driver's License
Strong understanding of safety procedures and construction law
High School diploma or GED
Preferred:
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and web-based applications
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Proven ability to manage multiple complex projects
High level of confidentiality and professionalism

Valid driver's license and reliable transportation needed
Ability to perform strenuous physical labor in adverse conditions
Comfortable working on uneven terrain, ladders, and in all weather
Exposure to loud noise, dust, and mechanical equipment
75% field work, 25% office-based task
