Ready Equipment is the go to source for top notch professional equipment in Central NH. We rent construction equipment and tools and we sell and service lawn & garden equipment, commercial turf equipment, and contractor job-site equipment.

We have an immediate opening for a highly qualified Small Engine Technician. We offer top notch pay for qualified technicians! Seasonal overtime available if desired. Rate of pay to be determined, and is based on your experience.

This is a full time Monday through Friday position. Part time positions are also available.

Mechanic / Technician Main Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, accurately diagnose and repair customer and internal equipment issues for small engine equipment; lawn and garden, pressure washers, generators, commercial turf equipment, etc.
• Provide parts lists and labor estimates for repairs.
• Perform preventative maintenance and general/basic repairs on rental equipment and tooling; small engine - outdoor power equipment.

Mechanic / Technician Requirements & Skills

• Minimum of 3 - 5 + years of relevant experience, preferably lawn and garden and/or commercial turf equipment experience; outdoor power equipment
• Ability to work independently in a small team environment
• Be extremely punctual and reliable
• Be organized and detail oriented
• Have a clean driving record and valid driver's license
• Certifications preferred, ie. Honda, Kohler, Briggs, or like certification
• Candidates need to be able to pass a background check and a pre employment drug screening

Pay Type: Hourly plus overtime, and starting pay is based on experience, top pay for highly skilled and experienced technicians.
