Akkodis is seeking a Snowflake Engineer for a Contract with a client in Alpharetta, GA / New York, NY. Candidates must have strong expertise in Snowflake implementation and performance tuning while ensuring data security and cost-efficient resource utilization. Rate Range: $53/hour to $60/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors. Snowflake Engineer job responsibilities include: Design, implement, and manage Snowflake data warehouses and compute resources. Develop and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines following Snowflake best practices. Implement data security protocols and access controls within the Snowflake environment. Perform query and warehouse performance tuning to optimize efficiency. Monitor and optimize warehouse costs and resource utilization. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and deliver solutions. Create and maintain documentation for data processes and architectures. Ensure compliance with data governance policies and security standards. Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Data Engineering, or related field. 4–6 years of experience in data engineering with hands‑on Snowflake expertise. Strong proficiency in designing and managing Snowflake data warehouses and implementing ETL/ELT pipelines.
