Software Engineer

Atlanta (remote-first within US)

Up to $160,000 + 15% Bonus

Are you a bright and driven software engineer with 3+ years experience building high-quality software solutions and web applications using Python (Flask or Django)?

This is an opportunity to join a leading private equity firm who are growing quickly and investing in the Data and Tech (read AI) function. You'll work in a small, growing team to solve complex problems with production-level Python code, building web applications across distributed systems to support investment decisions in their and multi-cloud platform

The Role:

• Build custom packages and applications using Python (Django or Flask)
• Write production-level code for robust analytics products
• Partner with machine learning and data analytics teams to translate complex business problems into data science and advanced analytics software solutions
• Collaborate with data and software engineers to support data science solutions through the entire product lifecycle, including data transfer, exploratory analysis, rapid prototyping, business validation and testing, and deployment
• Support architectural and DecOps team in building scalable and secure cloud platforms - Terraform and Kubernetes experience are a bonus

Requirements:

• Strong Computer Science or similar degree, Master preferred
• 3+ years experience in an impactful software engineer role
• Experience writing production-level code using Python
• Extensive experience using Flask or Django
• Excellent communication skills
• Highly driven individual with a good attitude. Cultural fit is extremely important here
• Kubernetes and Terraform experience is a bonus
