Job Description
We are in the process of recruiting a Part-time 20 hours, Sr. Financial Analyst to join our team in the Real Estate and Property industry. This role is remote, based out of Minneapolis, Minnesota, and offers a longer-term contract opportunity. The Sr. Financial Analyst will be instrumental in reorganizing and streamlining financial reporting across multiple business units, supporting a key financial initiative.
Responsibilities:
• Utilize CRM and Microsoft Excel to manage large datasets and perform data adjustments.
• Extract financial data from existing reporting groups and allocate into newly defined groups.
• Collaborate with the finance team to ensure financial reports are accurate and timely.
• Refine and build interim financial reports to improve reporting efficiency.
• Use Microsoft Excel for data management, including creating reports and performing V-lookups.
• Monitor and update financial systems regularly.
• Analyze financial data and provide insights to support business decision-making.
• Work closely with multiple business units to gather data and support financial reporting.
• Assist in the transition from eight financial reporting groups to 20 more focused groupings.
• Proven experience as a Senior Financial Analyst.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.
• Demonstrated experience in financial reporting, with a focus on accuracy and timeliness.
• Knowledge and experience in expense reporting, including budgeting and forecasting.
• Strong data analysis skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
• Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to make recommendations based on financial analysis.
• A bachelor's degree in finance, economics, or a related field is required.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to present financial information clearly to non-financial stakeholders.
• Attention to detail and the ability to work under tight deadlines.
• Knowledge of the real estate and property industry, including understanding of market trends and financial indicators.
