A tech services company is actively seeking a new Senior Fortinet Engineer to join their team. In this role, the Senior Fortinet Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting secure network solutions across a complex healthcare environment. Responsibilities: Design, configure, and maintain Fortinet security infrastructure across multiple healthcare locations Manage and optimize FortiGate firewalls, VPNs, and advanced threat protection systems Administer FortiManager and FortiAnalyzer for centralized policy control and log analysis Support network segmentation, secure remote access, and incident response efforts Collaborate with internal and client-side IT teams to implement best practices and resolve complex issues Monitor performance, assess vulnerabilities, and recommend enhancements to strengthen security posture Ensure compliance with HIPAA, NIST, and other healthcare security standards Qualifications: 5+ years of experience in Network Engineering or Security Engineering Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field Strong hands-on experience with Fortinet technologies (FortiGate, FortiManager, FortiAnalyzer) Solid understanding of network protocols, firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, and routing/switching Experience supporting large-scale enterprise or healthcare networks Excellent troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, client-facing environment with minimal supervision Desired Skills: Experience with healthcare IT systems and regulatory compliance (HIPAA, HITECH) Familiarity with other security platforms or scripting languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell) Additional Information: Seniority level: Mid-Senior level Employment type: Full-time Industries: Technology, Information and Internet #J-18808-Ljbffr Tandym Group
