SUN Powersports, a top-ten nationally ranked Honda/Kawasaki/KTM/Polaris/Can -Am/Sea-Doo/Harley Davidson Dealership, has an immediate opening for a qualified Staff Accountant.

Located just north of downtown Denver, Sun Powersports is a locally owned dealership with over 80,000 square feet of floor space spread across a 5-acre campus. We are seeking enthusiastic, honest and motivated applicants who possess superior communication skills, a neat demeanor and exhibit clear focus and the highest level of work ethic. The position will be responsible for performing various accounting activities including General Ledger, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Fixed Assets, and Cash Management.

Duties include, but are not limited to:

· Ensure accurate and appropriate recording and analysis of revenues and expenses.

· Compile and analyze financial information to help prepare financial statements.

· Prepare balance sheet general ledger account reconciliations.

· Input new vehicle inventory into the computer system as directed by Controller.

· Monitor and post accounting transactions.

· Process accounts payables and receivables, making certain that payments are accurate and posted correctly.

· Reconciling and balancing various accounts, making adjustments as needed.

· Help maintain and enhance best practice accounting control procedures.

· Become cross-trained in other office duties including those of the Controller and Senior Accountant.

Qualifications

· Bachelor’s degree (Accounting or Finance)

· 4+ years of Accounting/Finance Experience

· Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office

- Expert Level Microsoft Excel

· Experience working with a dealership ERP accounting system preferred (CDK, Lightspeed)

· Detail oriented with ability to analyze and troubleshoot

We are open 5 days per week, from Tuesday-Saturday. Schedules will be full time, 5 days per week, Saturdays included. Full time positions come with benefits including: PTO, Health, Dental and Vision. We offer competitive pay that is determined by experience.
