Store Associate Redwood City, CA (onsite); 3 Months Contract; Mon - Fri (8:00 AM - 05:00 PM) This role will be responsible for company store duties, such as operating the POS system to ring employees up, taking inventory and stocking games and apparel, providing good customer services, replenishing orders from the online store, pulling games, creating USPS, Client labels, hanging clothes, keeping the store clean. Also pulling games from the storage room. Temp must be approachable and must greet all customers. The temp that knows store operations and with knowledge of a POS system for credit card transactions. There will be Extensive Standing, walking, lifting, pulling and bending. Lifting 50+ with assistance. Key Responsibilities Operate the POS system to process employee purchases and credit card transactions. Greet all customers in a friendly and approachable manner. Maintain store inventory by stocking, organizing, and replenishing merchandise. Handle and ship online store orders using USPS and Client labels. Pull and restock games and apparel from storage. Keep the store clean, organized, and visually appealing. Assist with company mail, shipping/receiving, and other administrative support as needed. Operate office and print equipment such as copiers, scanners, and printers. Maintain supply records, prepare basic reports, and handle minor copier issues. Support additional onsite services such as meeting setups or light maintenance, if required. Qualifications Education: High school diploma or GED required. Experience: 1–2 years of related retail, mailroom, or office support experience. Preferred: Experience with POS systems and store operations. Skills and Abilities Excellent customer service and communication skills. Good PC proficiency, including MS Office and email systems. Strong organizational and multitasking abilities. Basic mathematical and filing skills. Ability to operate office equipment (copiers, scanners, postage meters, etc.). Attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
