Posting Detail Information
Job Summary/Basic Function The Music Department is looking for degree Tutors. Two for each degree program:
- Music Education
- Music Industry
- Bachelor of Arts in Music
Required Qualifications MUST be a music major
- Sufficient knowledge of musical terms to proficiently educate music students
- Enrolled in the Music Department as a Music Student Major
- Able to teach the fundamentals of the art of music
- Critical thinking skills associated with reading and writing music
- Must be able to work independently and self-driven
- Must be punctual, dependable and trustworthy
- Performance experience with a variety of instruments
- Knowledgeable of all majors, class requirements, and the program in general.
- Ability to mentor as a positive role model.
- Must complete 3 required clearances (PA Criminal Background, Child Abuse History, and FBI Fingerprints).

Job Duties - Provide one-to-one teaching experience in the areas of music composition, production, and instrumentation of musical instruments

Working Conditions and Physical Effort * Be able to sit and use a computer for the length of shift
* Be able to lift packages at most 10lbs
