CME is currently searching for a Talent Development Intern for the IT Learning & Development team for Summer 2025, with the possibility of an extension into Fall 2025.

Description

The IT Learning & Development team leads the Technology division’s strategic efforts focused on talent, culture, and organizational effectiveness while being positioned within Human Resources. We seek to attract, support, and retain diverse talent at CME through initiatives such as our Technology Internship Program for college students and Rotational Program for entry-level professionals. Providing a wide range of development activities is critical to the support of these program participants.

Job Summary

The Talent Development Intern for IT Learning & Development will be responsible for supporting a variety of projects and initiatives, with a focus on delivery and coordination of professional development trainings for new professionals. Topics may include: Networking, Emotional Intelligence, Presenting & Facilitating, Mentorship, etc. Additional key responsibilities will include facilitation of intern programming and events (both educational and social). This role will report to the Sr. IT Learning and Development Programs and will collaborate with leaders across Technology departments as well as Human Resources to achieve success.

Principal Accountabilities

  • Facilitate intern programming such as weekly Lunch & Learn series as well as monthly social/team building events. This includes managing attendance, catering, program content, etc.

  • Provide learning and mentorship to other interns (high school and undergraduate level) as appropriate. Collaborate in the delivery of a robust learning agenda that is aligned with new professional needs.

  • Evaluate, design, and execute innovative and engaging approaches to learning.

  • Collect, analyze, and report on feedback from training and development participants.

  • Assist with onboarding of new interns and Rotational Team Members, including oversight of mentorship program for entry-level professionals.

  • Coordinate quarterly division orientation sessions to welcome new Technology employees.

Minimum Requirements

  • Pursuing a graduate degree in a related field (human resources, education, organizational psychology, etc.)

  • Proficiency in all Microsoft Office and Google Workspace applications

  • Excellent administrative and organizational skills, including attention to detail

  • Effective communication and presentation skills

  • Ability to work autonomously in a hybrid environment

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with:

    • Instructional design, curriculum development, delivery, and program coordination

    • Data analytics

    • Event coordination

    • Working in an office environment

Actual pay offered will be dependent on a wide array of factors including but not limited to: relevant experience, skills, education, location of the internship, and the internship area of focus.
