We are seeking to hire an experienced Tax Preparer / Accountant for a small office in West Deptford, New Jersey. This position would be approximately 40 hours per week in office. The appropriate candidate will need to have in depth experience with bookkeeping using 
QuickBooks online , as well as individual and business tax preparation experience.

Qualifications:

• Bookkeeping and accounting experience required
• Tax preparation experience – Individual , partnership and corporation tax returns
• Proficient to Advanced user of QuickBooks Online
• Sound knowledge of accounting and bookkeeping practices
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to manage and prioritize the workload and demands of client’s portfolio
• Strong written and oral communication skills

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Prepare federal and state tax returns for individuals and small business entities
• Prepare federal and state tax returns for partnership and corporation business entities
• Manage bookkeeping function using QuickBooks Online including Bank Reconciliations,
• General Ledger Adjusting entries, Sales tax Calculations, and payroll adjustments
• Engage with clients to collect necessary documentation and supporting statements for tax filing
• Research and reconcile discrepancies in client financial data to ensure complete and accurate reporting
• Experience with Thomson Reuter software a plus
