POSITION:Teacher Aide
LOCATION:Fricano Primary School
DESCRIPTION:Responsibilities include but are not limited to supervising and providing support to students in grades K-2 classrooms throughout the school day and additional duties as assigned by the building principal, including:
Progress Monitoring: This involves tracking the academics of students who are receiving Response to Intervention (RTI) support. This may include collecting data on student performance and administering short assessments.
Door Greeter/Attendance Backup: The aide serves as a backup for the main door greeter, which involves greeting students and visitors and assisting with daily attendance procedures to ensure a smooth start to the school day.
Classroom Support: The aide assists primary students with various daily classroom needs.
Please note that Teacher Aide positions may require some lifting.
REQUIREMENTS:Must meet Civil Service requirements and NYSED fingerprint clearance
COMPENSATION:$18.79/hour - Health and Dental benefits provided
