Visitor Relations Tour Guide We are seeking experienced tour and guest service professionals to deliver world‑class experiences at Future of Flight, a public attraction that showcases aviation and aerospace innovation. As one of Puget Sound’s most popular tourist attractions, Future of Flight welcomes more than 300,000 visitors every year to experience tours of the Everett factory and a 26,000 square‑foot Gallery of interactive and educational exhibits. Primary Duties Engage customers enthusiastically and support all aspects of the visitor experience to enhance the brand and products. Create a positive impression of the company, reflecting core values in all activities and in all contact with the public. Memorize and deliver extensive scripted material and approved messaging to guests, incorporating script updates and new content as required. Lead tour activities with up to 52 attendees and theater presentations with up to 200 attendees. Facilitate ticket purchases, guest greeting and briefing, theater tech and other operational assignments in support of programs. Assist visitors with general building wayfinding and services at both Future of Flight and Everett Factory sites. Learn gallery and exhibit content and actively engage with visitors to share information accurately. Facilitate interactive experiences with general public, groups and event guests; proactively address and report safety issues or concerns. Work efficiently to optimize program timing and throughput, collaborating on position coverage and rotations. Work a flexible schedule that may include early mornings, mid‑days, evenings, weekends, and holidays as tour and event schedules require. Complete mandatory training assignments in a timely manner and participate actively in team training and meetings. Other duties as assigned. Required Qualifications 1 or more years’ related work experience in a role requiring strong customer service and communication skills. Experience in a client‑facing environment that involved presenting, training, teaching, or acting. Experience working in a team environment. Proven reliability, punctuality and regular attendance. Flexible schedule with ability to work early mornings, mid‑days, evenings, weekends and holidays. Ability to work in standing or walking positions for up to six (6) hours per shift. Preferred Qualifications Six months’ experience giving public tours and/or public speaking. Six months’ experience with technology related to events, exhibits, or POS. Proficient with Microsoft Office tools. Any experience with Future of Flight. Education/experience typically acquired through basic education (e.g., high school diploma/GED) and typically 4 or more years’ related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Work Schedule Full‑time, weekdays and weekends. Flexible schedule may include early mornings, mid‑days, evenings, weekends and holidays as tour and event schedules require. Compensation $20.00/hr – $25.00/hr.
