**Responsibilities**
**Position Summary:**
The Trasnporter will perform guest services such as transporting patients and non-patients and materials, accommodating linkage throughout the facility.
**Qualifications**
**Minimum Requirements:**
+ Healthcare BLS CPR certification AHA is required
+ High school GED or equivalent technical training
**Preferred Skills:**
+ Previous Hospital Transport or Guest Relations experience is preferred.
+ Two years Patient Transport experience preferred.
**Training:**
BMH Physical Therapy Department will provide training for patient transfer and proper lifting procedures.
Please be advised that this location requires quarterly American Heart Association (AHA) Resuscitation Quality Improvement (RQI) competency certification post-hire. This ongoing competency is required through resources internal to the facility; outside RQI competency resources are not acceptable for CommonSpirit Health compliance requirements.
