HonorVet Technologies is seeking a travel nurse RN ICU - Intensive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Washington, District of Columbia.

RN Intensive Care Unit (ICU)

 

Location: 900 23rd Street NW, Washington, DC 20037
Shift: 3x12-hour shifts, rotating day/night
Work Type: Travel/Contract – Must live at least 100 miles from facility

 

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced ICU Registered Nurse to provide high-quality care to critically ill patients in a multidisciplinary ICU setting. The unit cares for neurological, medical, surgical, cardiac, trauma, and other high-acuity patients using advanced medical technology.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct patient care in accordance with RN licensure and hospital protocols
  • Monitor and operate life-sustaining equipment (e.g., ventilators, ECMO, CRRT, IABP)
  • Collaborate with healthcare team members for patient assessments and treatment plans
  • Maintain accurate documentation in Cerner EMR
  • Support patients and families through critical care situations

Requirements:

  • Current RN license (DC) – Required
  • Minimum 3 years of ICU experience – Required
  • BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications – Required
  • Cerner EMR experience – Required

    Weekly Breakdown:
    Weekly Gross: $2,610.00 Per Week
    On W2(Taxable): $720.00 Per Week
    Stipend(Non-Taxable): $1,890.00 Per Week
